Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the most picturesque wildlife landscapes and luxuriant vegetation in Gondia district. The Nagzira wildlife sanctuary has a great importance from bio-diversity conservation point of view. This wildlife sanctuary is indeed nature’s priceless asset. The wildlife spotted here sloth bear, four horned antelope, tiger, chital, blue bull, bison, barking deer, panther, nilgai, sambar, wild boar. The national park is also favourite for bird watchers as there are about 166 species of birds. The Bodalkasa Dam, is on Bhagdeogoti river located at the north end of Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary. It is surrounded by dense forest and literally a treasure chest, full of thrills.
